Week 7 consisted of all my runs along the Thames river. I would get up early in the morning on my running days while Thomas slept so then we could still have a full day of sightseeing. Between all my running and walking these last 2 1/2 weeks my legs are getting into good shape. Thursday we made it back to the sates and my long run on Saturday was no longer filled with European architecture. It was back to the beautiful lakeside trails of Minnesota. During the last 4 miles of my long run I started to feel a little pain in my right knee and a pain in my shin on my left leg (maybe a shin splint). This was my first signs of any pain so far while training. Hopefully it won't last or be a sign of future pain.
Mon: 4 miles
Tue: rest
Wed: 6 miles
Thur: first day I missed running through all my training. Travel day and way too jet lagged!! was suppose to do 4 miles :(
Fri: rest
Sat: 12 miles
Sun: rest
Total Miles Ran: 22 miles

Wow! I can't believe you are running 11 miles already. Crazy! And good for you to continue running while on vacation, that is the hardest thing to do. GREAT JOB!!
