Happy 27th!

Well, I am officially 27 as of June 12th. I had a wonderful celebration with my Mom and sister. I picked my mom and sis up at the airport late Wednesday night. I worked Thursday morning and then we went to Stillwater to celebrate my birthday(one of my favorite little towns by the St. Croix river in MN). We enjoyed a picturesque evening strolling the main street of shops, relaxing by the river then eating at a nice Italian restaurant on the patio. When we returned home my mom and sister had gotten my a delicious birthday cake with cookie dough ice cream. Yum Yum!

Friday we then set out to explore downtown Minneapolis. The weather was nice again, but very windy. We enjoyed Nicollet Mall, Loring Park, and the Sculpture gardens.

Saturday we braved the Mall of America- good for us it was not very busy. We then shopped until we dropped.

Sunday we recooperated from the shopping and said farewell to Kandis as she went back to Utah. My Mom and I then enjoyed a nice nature walk around Bennett Lake in Central Park Roseville. We then returned in the evening for a free concert in the Park to enjoy yet another perfect day and some good music.

Monday was another day of fun with my Mom before I had to say goodbye as she then had to leave in the evening to return home to California.
Mom and Kandis -- Thanks so much for a great Birthday weekend! It was so fun to have you here in Minnesota to see where I live and breathe the air:) I couldn't have asked for a better girly weekend of fun!
