38 week check-up
I went to the Dr. today for my 38 week exam. I am doing well and will finish work tomorrow. I have been having lots of braxton hicks contractions and am progressing along well. The doctor said I am a full 1 cm dilated: She could feel the babies head. I am also 30% effaced. She said the cervix is in good position and everything seems to be progressing well. Now the waiting game...When will our little baby decide to come? My next apt. is March 8th so I will let you all know then how things are going. She said at this apt. she can strip my membranes to move things along if I want to.

At least your doctor told you when she would strip your membranes. Mine did without telling me when she was "looking" for the head. It took forever for Brooke to drop. TMI...maybe
Anywho, good luck. You'll do awesome and can't wait to see pics of the new little man in your life.
I hope you have a lot of things to do this next week since it is going to feel like forever since you aren't working. I'm getting excited. Glad that everything is going well. Good Luck!
