Church Baby Shower

My Good friend Emily helped put together a baby shower for me with the Relief Society President, Stacey and our Compassionate Service Leader, AnnaMarie. These sweet girls all made for a wonderful afternoon with all my church friends. Our ward here is so kind and the women are wonderful to serve with. I was showered with love and best wishes for our little guy. Many people gave me cute little outfits and of course the onesies. We also got a baby bath, some soft blankets, and little toys. Thank you so much for everyone's support!

Here are a few pictures of me marking 37 weeks!

I am getting so close!! I can't believe only three weeks left until March 12th. I continue to feel well and have started having a few braxton hicks here and there. I am feeling quite large and maneuvering around is getting a little hard. Work is especially starting to get hard for me and is wearing me out. This week will be my last week of work and then I will start maternity leave. I am looking forward to the break and being able to spend time with the new little one when he comes.
In other news I have started nesting and have felt like I really needed to get with it and try to get a few things together just in case baby decides to come early. We finally got a car seat, port-a-crib, and I also put together my hospital bag. I feel like I have been such a slacker when it comes to getting ready for the baby, but I have been really busy with work and school and then if I am not doing one of those then I feel tired and just want to sleep or veg out in front of the tv. I feel better now that I was able to accomplish a few important tasks this weekend with Thomas helping. Now if he decides to come early then at least I will have a few things ready and they will let me take him home from the hospital!

AHHHH you look so cute! It is always nice to have a few things ready in case of early arrivals. We put Matt in a drawer for his first little bit since he came a month early and we didn't even have a crib yet! He was so tiny so he didn't care!

How exciting!!!

Wes was 2 weeks early and I was trying to instruct Brian on how to put the car seat in the car while I was dealing with contractions. I think being prepared is the better idea!

It sounds like you are good to go. I'm excited to see your little fella and hope to meet him in person sooner than later. I never packed my hospital bag until I started having contractions. It made it kind of hard this last time since my water broke, I told Josh what to put in a bag. It distracts you from all that is happening. I hope the hospital is close and that the weather cooperates when he finally decides to come. Good Luck!
