Week 4 Training Log

On Wednesday I got a new toy. I purchased a GPS watch to wear while I run. It is a Garmin Forerunner 405. I used my new watch on Thursday and Saturday and totally love it. This watch can track your pace, miles, keep your time, lead you back to wear you started from , and a whole lot of other stuff that I have not figured out yet (just have not had the time!). I got this watch mainly to track miles when I run, but I think I will use this when I hike too. With the GPS this watch will be great while I am in Paris and London to track my mileage and get us around. I am gonna have fun running and playing with my new toy!!

Mon: 3 miles
Tue: rest
Wed: 5 miles
Thur: 3 miles
Fri: rest
Sat: 8 miles
Sun: rest
Total Miles: 19

That is so cool. I had a friend that I use to run with and she had something that tracked our milage, and it was great. Cuz we would just have to drive our car around to figure out our miles. That is a great new toy! And you are doing awesome with running. 10 miles is usually my wall. So good luck next week!

That is one BIG watch!! Sounds like it does everything that you need to keep track of things. Have fun using it and have fun in Paris!!

I've been reading about your running every week thinking how great you are doing and how I need to get my lazy butt up and get back running again too. But so far it hasn't got any further then thinking about it. :)
