Friday night was a fun evening of baseball. I went and had a fun time with my friends Emily and John while Thomas was studying at the Library. Poor Thomas missing out on an evening of fun. Yes he is one dedicated studier. Our friends had free tickets for us through his work along with a free meal before the game. Thomas still passed up on the chance. Well, I wasn't going to let the fact that I would be single for the night stop me!! The Twins were playing the Tigers and we got to see a Twins player hit a home run, a Tigers player break a bat, and a Twins player get hit by the pitcher! The twins did loose, but it was fun to get out on a Friday night! Thanks Sharpes for a fun evening!!
Sporting our cool twin cities hunting hats! Funny story about those hats: So the first so many hundred fans in to the stadium got these hats for free. Towards the end of the game a guy came up to Emily and said I will give you $5.00 for your hat so she said okay! She never was going to wear it again! Then right after that a guy two rows behind us said how much will you sell me a hat for. So then we sold the other one for $5.00 to that guy! So Emily and John actually walked away with $10.00 in their pocket! Now there parking was paid for!! Turned out to be a fun evening that cost nothing!!
