Jelly Belly Factory Tour

Thomas and I were exctited to sport our lovely jelly belly hats!

Brayden and Andrew smiled at the thought of free candy!!

Nixon thought sleeping was a little more important than learning about the history of the Jelly Belly

Ava liked the idea of lots of bright colors to look at and smells of sweet treats

I agree Isaac - the line was a drag! Hopefully the free sample bar will cheer you up!

A Picture of Ronald Reagan made from Jelly Bellies. He always had a dish on his desk and popularized this great American candy.

Two thumbs up for Jelly Bellies! (Actually the tour was not that impressive, but it made for a good meeting spot on our way to Santa Cruz and gave the kids a break from being in the car.) In case you were wondering of some flavors here are a few of the crazy ones: Toothpaste, Moldy Cheese, Earwax, Dirt. They have started making Coldstone flavors that include: Mint cookie, birthday cake, and some others. Also Orange Crush Soda and 7up were some other hits. Ask Thomas about all the nasty flavored jelly bellies- I think he sampled them all and then used toothpaste as a chaser!! I on the other hand stuck to the more palate friendly flavors.

I have always wondered what this tour was like. I know it is free so I think they are just trying to get everyone to come and then buy the jelly bellies!! I don't think I would have been brave enough to try the yucky stuff either!! No thanks to that. I will stick to the good old flavors like A & W Rootbeer!!
We've been there! We didn't actually end up going on the tour as we had a little baby Wes in tow at the time, but it was still fun to try a bunch of flavors! Wouldn't you hate to be a taste-tester for some of those flavors? "Okay, you, make sure this tastes like moldy cheese." Gross!
