An Ugly Weekend
Thomas has been super busy wrapping up his semester with Finals. He only has one more dreadful 72 hour take home final to complete by this Thursday and then Summer time will be screaming his name. We went out on Friday night with some friends to Applebees for 1/2 priced appetizers and then something ugly and awful happened to my poor hubby. Applebees gave him an ugly case of Food Poisoning. He managed to still tough it out and get a test done Saturday morning and then spent the rest of the Afternoon and evening saying hello to the porcelain bowl. He has been week and tired and is fighting hard to get rid of the bug....which we think may finally be gone. Now we will be glad when Thursday evening hits, as Summer time will officially begin in the Rose Home!

That is aweful. I hope that he will get his energy back quickly so that he can concentrate on that last final. Good luck on your last test Thomas. And you should go out on Friday to get your summer kicked off the right way... maybe not at Applebees.
That is awful timing, hope he feels better soon. He needs to get out there and golf after all. :)
Nothing worse than food poison. Our neighbor got it at Outback last week and is still weak from not being able to eat anything!! So sorry it came on you during finals. One good thing is that it is the sure fire way of loosing weight fast!! (I know that was not funny, sorry) Hope you find time to golf this summer.
Thomas, I do so hope it is just food poisoning (doesn't sound just like your mother) anyway you should have called maybe a little fenergan would help the upchucking. Dad seems to have a "potion" for most everything. I do hope you feel better in time for your final.

Bummer, Thomas! The timing on that is totally miserable! I've had food poisoning once, and thought I was going to die! Hang in there guys! There IS light at the end of the tunnel~!!!
PS: I still love you guys, even if you ARE deserting Em and John!

Hey, I've been catching up on your blog. You two are busy people. I love the photos of you both running the 5k, so sporty!
I'm guessing finals are over by now and you are both finally able to breathe. Now you need to go back to Jamaica!
I'm sorry Thomas got food poisoning. That's aweful! I don't like Applebees anyways. I hope he's feeling better now :)
