We had a fun time in Northern and Southern California this year for Christmas visiting family and getting away from the Minnesota cold. We enjoyed a week long stay with Mom and Dad Kelly relaxing around the house, going to the temple, shopping, games, and seeing my cousins and their families. I enjoyed giving Ava lots of attention while I was there too!
For New Years we went to Simi Valley to visit Thomas' brother Pat and his family. It was fun to not only see his family, but to have the rest of the Rose family from Utah visiting too! We had fun entertaining the kids, playing at the Park, shopping and going to the Aquarium. We also were able to see the newest addition to the family William Jay Rose who was born on January 3, 2009.
We enjoyed our Christmas and New Year in California away from the cold. We had a wonderful time with all our families and friends. We are so greatful for each of you. We missed those who we didn't get to see, but were thinking of you. We love you all and wish you a Happy New Year!

I didn't know Thomas had family in Simi Valley. Looks like Christmas was a lot of fun.

I'm glad that you guys were able to travel out to Cali. We wish that we could have been there with you guys, it has been awhile since we have seen you guys. Hopefully soon.

It was fun to see you guys, too. We love the Christmas party at Linda's house every year. No gift exchange gift will ever top the turkey salt and pepper shakers. Marga said there were dead worms and bugs inside them and spent all night on the internet trying to find out if they were antiques and actually worth anything. It was hilarious. We loved the oven mitt game. It was lots of fun. Good luck with school this year :)
