One Crazy Hair Brained Scheme!

While I was at work this week Thomas had a little surprise for me when I got home. It was my late night and I got home at 8:00 and was hungry! I did not want to fix any dinner and wanted something quickly, so I decided we would go grab a bite to eat. As we headed out the door Thomas had his usual beanie on his head with a sweatshirt on and hood over his head. When we got to Panera Bread and were ordering our food he pulled down his hood and to my surprise I did not see any curls coming out from his beanie. I pulled off his hat and yes he cut his hair and cut it short! This is not the first time Thomas has surprised me this way!! I think he likes to see my reactions! It is always fun to see others react too who have only known Thomas with long curly hair. Today at church Thomas was the talk of the ward and his Primary kids were in shock as well! The Senior Primary made their vote loud and clear that they liked Thomas' hair long! Others from the ward had mixed reviews. What is your vote? Cast a vote to the right of our blog if Thomas should stay short or go back long?

I will say, he looked like a real rock star on the previous post with the long hair and the guitar, but he looks more like a lawyer with the short hair. Thomas always made fun of my short hair cuts, good to see he has joined the club :)

I pity the man who tried to surprise you again with the short haircut. The old beanie with the sweatshirt over it trick huh??? I will never forget your reaction the first time he did this to you right before your wedding!! It is hard to vote on his hair because he looks great both ways.

I would have to agree with your mom Kristin--I like him both ways. Its good to have a change--I just butched mine too. Patrick...not so happy. I'm thinking of dying it black just to finish it off....hee hee. Jk. :)

If Thomas is still wanting to look like a member of a boy band (which I know that is his true dream) then he should keep it long!

I voted for the curly hair. If I ever have a boy, I would hope he had curly hair.

That comment about the boy band was awesome! I can still remember singing "I Want It That Way" karaoke together December 31, 1999. It was Thomas’s idea and because he's my best friend, I went along with it. We really partied like it was 1999. “Backstreet back…all right!”
