Small, quaint, and quiet-this was our Christmas this year. With funds low and trying to save are pennies we decided to stay in Minnesota for Christmas and enjoy what the midwest has to offer. Thomas and I went up North the Friday before Christmas and stayed at Eagle Ridge Resort at Lutsen Mountain. There we got a little rest and relaxation in and enjoyed the beautiful outdoors skiing Sunday and Monday. Our Lodge was a ski in ski out so it was real convient to hit the slopes as we pleased. We had good snow and a beautiful sunny day on Monday. Christmas day we headed home and then opened gifts. It was a quiet Christmas with just the two of us, but a fun one!!

So much fun, take advantage of not having kids and do all the fun things you can. It gets a whole lot harder once you do. I'm jealous, but wouldn't give up my kids for anything. I'm glad you guys had fun, and can't wait till we all get to spend Christmas together again.
