We have had nothing but rain, rain, rain, and more rain! Yes for once in my life I just am sick of rain and gray skies. When the weather report finally said we were going to see the sun this Saturday I knew we needed to take advantage of a sight that has been so rare here in MN this fall. Thomas and I decided to venture to a town east of us called Stillwater. It is a historic town full of charm located on the St. Croix River. It was fun to window shop at the fun antique stores and boutiques while enjoying the beautiful sunshine that we had been ever craving to see. We had a fun day together taking in the beautiful fall and walking along the river. We enjoyed a delicious ice cream together of maple nut in our fav-the waffle cone. I was bad about taking pics that day but manged to pull it out a few times to catch Thomas. I should have taken some pics of the neat city and the old buildings. Oh well I will have to do that our next trip as we will sure return to Stillwater for a fun getaway!

Did you say antique shops!! I am so there!! You really need to take advantage of seeing all the sites while you can. The weather will go to snow and then you will home bound for sure. Love ya, MOM
Its always fun to get away. We're enjoying record highs here...it was over 80 degrees today! I guess i need to enjoy it while i can. I think i need to go have some ice cream now seeing your pics.
